Lovely pictures, Hassan. Wonderful profusion of wildlife you have there.

I was curious to know what the black and yellow beetle was - Google suggests it's a Sun Beetle (Pachnoda Marginata)

Yeah, I wanted to know what it was, too, Leith. There's an amazing amount of interesting looking insects lurking in my shrubbery. I tried to find a field guide to creepy crawlies but it seems as though there isn't one which is irritating me 'cos I want to know who I'm talking to.

I think you may be right that it is a sort of sun beetle. I like it that Wiki says you can keep them as pets. I shall buy a collar and lead for the next one I find and take it walkies round the village

I've given up trying to get my photos to show. I have no idea why it won't work for me. Anyway, here's another couple of shots of domestic wildlife

Borrowed from elsewhere. What joyous leap!

I would say she is a dancer by her body shape, tone and the way she holds her arms and feet; it's probably taken in quite shallow water though as I'd it was deep it would be impossible for her get the momentum to leap up and
Pull her legs through and out up of the water. There are some very awesome dance photographers around who produce amazing shots even of kids Arcanettes age and younger. I do like that one.

Well not really. The best I can manage is getting the URL to show but I'm buggered if I can make the photos display on here like everybody else seems to be able to do :-(

Hassan, if you look just above your image you should see a drop down menu that says 'share', if you click on that, you'll see an option for html/BB code, click the radio button for BB code, and select the size you want, and then copy and paste the bit of code it gives you to the forum...

A rare short eared, long tailed bunny wabbit found asleep alongside the cycle path.

OK, it's a dead rat.
