"Jinkies" is an exclamation of surprise which originated withthe very lovely Velma Eugenia Dinkley* in the Scooby Doo cartoons. It is a word which needs to be in wider circualtion.

*Yes, she is a hottie. Don't deny it. Everyone pretends to fancy Daphne but we all know that Velma is the one.

Nice catch soup...

My preferred exclamation is "Zoikes!", which easily trumps "Jinkies!".

It's one of the memorable exclamations of Norville "Shaggy" Rogers, who is the owner and best friend of the Great Dane, Scooby-Doo.

I would have posted this earlier, but it's a long wait to "Z"...

Found this more recent photo of Velma - agreed, a bit of a hottie...

"Zoinks", wasn't it? Usually followed by, "Like, run, Scoob!"

Ooh, that cartoon makes me want someone to make a dark version film of scooby doo aimed at adults (not porn adult, you know what I mean, so stop sniggering...).

Something along the spirit of tank girl, but actually good :)

There was a version of Scooby Doo aimed at adults. It was called "The X-Files".

That second version of Velma appears to have had collagen lip injections.

Yeah, she's much more my type than Daphne. Doesn't get kidnapped by monsters so much either, which makes her less high-maintenance.

Of course, we all know that she's gay, which might be awkward.

Let's not forget that not only has Velma a much better figure than Daphne, she's also the one with the brains and always figures out who is inside the monster suit. She definitely isn't gay though as in "Scooby Doo! - Mystery Incorported" she tries to get jinky...erm, I mean "jiggy"... with Shaggy; who totally fails to live up his name it must be said. I suppose you have to question her taste in men.

And they would've gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those meddling kids.

As any X-phile could tell you, The X files was a version of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Mulder and Scully = Moose and Squirrel.

That comment stopped a try at a ZRP . Alright, alright, I couldn't think of anything else to say.

I am waiting for someone to declare their secret desire for Mrs Potatohead. Personally Jessica Rabbit gets my vote.

Wasn't there an x-rated version of the SD Cartoon called Scooby Don't?
