He's 11 months old, and has come from Cats Protection. He apparently was born there, adopted, then brought back because the people who adopted him split up and couldn't have two cats. So Flint being the newbie was brought back.

So he's had a rough old time, but now has a home for life.

On the papers he's described as a black and white British short hair, but tuxedo is a fabulous description!

I think that 'British short hair' is a polite way of saying 'moggie'. But he is a cat, and therefore a superior being to a mere human such as I.

He's certainty a moggie, but we all know they are the prettiest pussy cats!

*grins* I thought 'tuxedo' was a common term for black and white cats, (much like mackerel tabby or marmalade cat)... but yes it is a delightful term.

I've not been more than 6 months without a cat in my life (and home) since the day I was born (and could name em all if it wouldn't bore everyone to death ... but it would, so I shan't)

I've done cat rescue (and dog too) for various organizations at various times, we're hoping to establish a TNR colony on the property when we move...

Couldn't live my life without the wee furry beasties (big ones too) nor could James... who is known here alternatively as "The Wonderful Keeper of Treats" and "The Mass Cat Transportation System"

Flint is absolutely GORGEOUS and its so heart warming to hear that despite a rough start, he's got a forever home in your heart. He looks like he's gonna be personality plus :)

He's also an utter bruiser compared to my last cat, who was a utterly tiny ginger tom. He's very bold as well, he comes storming up to you to see what you're doing.

Sounds like his confidence is growing a-pace --grand!

And this from a dog-lover.

I love Flint. He would blend in nicely in my house, what with Spot the Dog being a dalmatian.

Flint is a Very Goodlooking Tuxedo indeed. I'm almost tempted to start reconsidering - but no, mustn't waver. Pet-time is over.
Enjoy, strawhat ;-)

Not exactly a pet but it lives in my house.
