Paraguay River - Great River River?

I love the triples: River River River and Hill Hill Hill.

Uruguay is supposed to mean "river of painted birds," derived from the same language as Paraguay (Guaraní).

davidbaker--did you ever visit the Uruguayan coast? I hear the beaches are as fine as can be had.

In the 1870s Paraguay briefly legalised polygamy. During the War of the Triple Alliance (1864-70) so many Paraguayan soldiers were killed that the country had vastly more women than men. The legislation was intended to help the country recover.
