Atlas, the Achilles heel?

Forethought to 2BOGI: 'Prometheus, whose brother Atlas was busy holding up the world...' BOGI p 168: 'What did Atlas carry on his shoulders? Not the world but the heavens.' Hmmm...caught napping, Dr Fry?

If I remember incorrectly, Atlas's punishment for mugging the world was to shoulder the heavens...

That's what I recall, too - Atlas having to carry the heavens (but he was relieved for a short spell by Jason who offered to take his place if Atlas would fetch the Golden Fleece, and then Jason tricked Atlas into taking over the heavens again...).
