Maybe I'll get insulted on Monday, then...

I can save "Miss Anne" a few seconds worth of typing...

I don't like myself.

she's very repetitive, isn't she, our Miss Anne?
if she's so witty and clever as she thinks she is, you'd think by now boredom would have lead her to find other ways of saying 'i don't like you'... not really a very articulate Miss.

it's good though, that she's giving us all constructive criticism. at least now i know i don't have a sense of humour, so i can work on that.

I've only just seen this thread (thanks to CB27's link.)
Entertaining but he/she ran out of steam.
What is interesting is that Posital missed the fact that he could say that has achieved his 'no reply' ambition in that Missy Anne never did reply to his post.

It was good for a laugh while it lasted though :-)

It was just a simple joke but it did happen to reveal some of the more pompous of the regulars on these boards.

It wasn't a question of 'running out of steam' so much as I became bored and it stopped being funny.

I just won the bet I had with myself!

(Edit - I just knew Miss A would show up)

I thought it might persuade her out if she is, indeed, a regular. Or maybe she just tagged to be notified if there were any posts to this thread.
And Posital still hasn't had a reply.

I have a suspicion about the identity.
Will ask in private.

It won't come as a shock, 'yorz. It was funny though.

Ha. Of course - you can see the source of Ms A's postings, Jenny.
No I was wrong - I was thinking of hobittual.
But he assured me it wazzunt him.

The funny thing is I usually don't bother too much with checking who wrote what, though there are exceptions, so I do sometimes get surprised when people reply to someone "oh that's typical of you" or refer to something they wrote in the past. For example, with absolutely no offence to hobittual, I've no idea why yorz thought it was him. I've no idea if it's someone from the forum, or someone coming in fresh.

When this thread started I was just simply surprised at the abruptness of it, so I looked at the name, and it just stood out straight away. It did make me laugh how people responded at the beginning without realising the blatant name, and would have left it alone in other circumstances, but I recall it was at a time when there was a batch of new names on the forum and I was a bit worried it might put some new people off if they thought this was the kind of welcome they'd get.

So, do the rest of us non-psychic types ever get to find out who she was / is?
