Italy is to become the home of the world's largest maze.

It is the creation of Franco Maria Ricci, the publisher who amongst the books is Codex Seraphinianus, a book written in a code by Luigi Serafini which so far no-one has been able to crack.

It is built in Fontanellato near Parma, is reported to be seven hectares in area, and made out of bamboo hedges.
