They're not known as "vinyl destroyers" for nothing.

edit: spelling mistake caused by posting from mobile phone

It looks too much like a toy. My son would either have it in piecess or there would be a huge pile of broken and scratched vinyl in the dining room. Something that plays records has to look like it's for the grown ups only.

Nope, just M, but they were sometimes know as Robin Scott's M. I missed it first time around, but I do have the 12" of the 1991 remix.

M People didn't come along until the late 80s/early 90s.

I'll take your word for it. I've just been looking for my old box of 45s to make sure, but they're not under the bed where I thought they were. Which means they could be absolutely anywhere, and I'm not looking there.

As a fan of some 'emo' music. Without sounding like an abstract philosoher(sorry for bad spellingf?!?) There is a lot of emotion in their songs. For example MCR Ghost OF You.

btw Try Malmsteen's first album - Rising Force (Black Star, Far Beyond the Sun, etc. etc.), a couple of the tracks even have lyrics! Far and away his best album IMO.

What he said. Also try Odyssey -a bit more poppy than the others, but includes the track Dreaming (Tell Me), which features one of the finest guitar solos ever recorded!

I still get a real kick out of introducing people to music I think they might like - my little brother rarely leaves from coming to stay without a good few gigabytes of new tunes on a memory stick.

And in the spirit of this admirable post, may I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone with a musical bone in their head check out the decidedly wonderful Morglbl.
