Did anyone notice that the discussion about the sand in the Sahara Desert on tonight's (Friday, October 28th, 2005) episode was an exact repetition of what was said in the episode a week before? Are the panelists told what to say?!

No, they aren't: we're the least rehearsed show on television, and I can say that with confidence because the amount we rehearse the panel with the material that's used in the show is nil.

There was nothing about deserts in last week's show; I'm guessing that your deja vu is because you watched last Friday's Jonathan Ross show, which ran a clip from tonight's transmission.

*laughs* Yes, I remember now... I did watch Alan on Jonathan Ross's show.

Thanks for that, Flash!

Aha. I was experiencing the same sense of deja vu and confusion. Now all becomes clear...

The first thread I looked at this morning was this one, the last thing I watched last night was the repeat of QI wher Alan talks about his freind Dave Ja Vu. Coincidence? mmmmmmmmmmm

Haven't we talked about Déjà vu before?

It took me a full 6 seconds to understand how clever that sentence was.
