Hmm... I'm just getting the blank page again.. Does it self destruct after 1 viewing?

That version shouldn't as it's 'regular sharing'
Will have a look art the link you gave, SV, thank you.
I have more file-sharing apps than you can shake a stick at.

Anonmgur isn't working for me, just gives me error messages :(

Didn't work on Android but works on my iPad but image appears as big as a house so am off to try to edit it before uploading to anonmgur.

With those gems - surely it should have been a cut & paste job...

The image doesn't show what the size of the item is. Size may matter. So far it does
look like a cheap garter clone, unfortunately, which was made by a volunteer or in
1950's China. I'd recommend showing the alledged gems to a local expert in a shop.
Or contact an expert by cheap email, if you want to make sure.

I have the images and will be taking them to the Grand Lodge of the Masons and a regalia shop opposite in the near future.

I'm not alleging they are 'gems'. Definitely* paste or glass (haven't checked which) and not even well done.
Good point about the size. As the very kind Mr Crissdee says, he is taking the photos to show somebody and size might matter to them. I shall measure up later and email the info to you, crissdee.

*Ok, as with many people in these situations there's a teensy weensy part of me that really really hopes they are diamonds. But they're not. My interest is why it was kicking around the family and roughly how old it is.

Well, my man in London has reported back that it's nothing to do with the Freemasons and the Regalia chappies think it is probably a garter as in Knights of the, possibly a Scottish one which is interesting. I shall have to do some more digging.

So many thanks to Crissdee for completing his mission. :)
