Unfortunately for Entze one of his friends admitted that he never mailed his ballot. “He left his ballot on his kitchen counter and it never got sent out,” Entze said.

The Taylor Model 5873 is a super-loud (95 db) kitchen timer. Given that 95 decibels is a level that can cause permanent hearing damage, I think I might stick with the one I've got.

As I wasn't quite sure what a "coconut ensemble" was I googled it. To my surprise I found this YouTube clip which apparently claims that the record was broken in Antwerp in 2010 with 6616 coconuts. No confirmation from Guinness that I can find though.

WordMaker lists 5878 words made out of the letters of "anthropocentricities".

RA 5880 is a set of UK procedures covering aircraft that in some senses are not or have not been confirmed as suitable for flight
Quote:
A Military Permit to Fly (MPTF) is issued to Air Systems that do not meet, or have not been shown to meet, the applicable air safety requirements set down in the Air System’s Airworthiness Strategy but are capable of safe flight under defined conditions. It is important to clearly define the design and flight conditions approved under the MPTF. Additionally, the Applicant for, or holder of, the MPTF is subject to certain rules governing the obligations and privileges they may hold.

Have you ever wondered about the difference between a 5881 valve and a 6L6GC valve?

Well, wonder no longer, as this article on guitar amplifier valves tells you all. Among other things, the 5881 is built to withstand high g-forces as it was used in Russian fighter jets amongst other applications. So if you're thinking of subjecting your amplifier to high g-forces, you know which one to choose!

Canadian football's 24th Grey Cup was played on December 5, 1936, before 5883 fans at Varsity Stadium at Toronto. The Sarnia Imperials defeated the Ottawa Rough Riders 26 to 20.

I have to confess that I had never heard of the Grey Cup, which is one of Canada's largest sporting events - in fact I'd barely heard of Canadian football (a sport similar to, but distinct from, American football).
