I thought it was a jolly amusing one. I particularly liked Alan's wooden leg gymnastic mime excerpts.

I thought that was very funny.

Questions like the invention of marking are just so bloody interesting.

Borrowed from the QI live journal tribute site.

I liked the "toilet in space" impressions that Alan did.

Young Luke Flash (8 - staying up late: half term) thought it was hysterical.

The wife watched and enjoyed, has she has done for the most part so far. She tended to be put off by the theme in the past, something to do with my old website but I've worked round that by getting her to make a cup of tea just before the show starts and turning the volume down. Anyway the only non enjoyable episode for her has been the first one, with Rich Hall and Bill Bailey which she found was a little hard going but that was simply because they were both being extreme versions of themselves that evening and it was hard to follow.

On the whole then the first quarter report should read.

Well Done Keep up the good work.

Very good. I have to get into the audience of that studio sometime.

It was one of those weeks where I was shouting the (wrong) answers out, I think my flatmates might be cottoning on that this is one tv programme that I cannot miss, regardless of how much "hollyoaks XXX afterhours" drivel is on.

Just wait till Dr Who gets back on....

Hi ficklefiend,

You'd be most welcome to come to a studio recording they're a very different experience but great fun. We haven't been formally recommissioned yet but I'd be astonished if we weren't and the new series wouldn't be made until at least March next year.

Let us know nearer the time...

I thought it was hilarious. The banter was indeed flowing.

*looks around furtively*

I've just seen this episode (shhh... We won't say how...) and it was indeed very funny, entertaining and informative - lots of QI facts. I liked Jeremy Clarkson's story about being stopped by the Swiss police. =D

I may have a point to bring up but I need to verify it first...

There was a tremendous surplus of interesting material in that recording - Clarkson was astonishingly omniscient on any subject which involved a machine. There just wasn't time to include it in the edited version, unfortunately.

I would have thought that the 'toilet in space' jokes would end up feeling awkward or out of place, but they blended right in.

...Is that the right past tense of 'to blend'?
