There was an episode in which a question came up somewhat like this:

Who was the most dangerous man in history?

As an answer Stephen told a wonderful story about a scientist who, by accident discovered all kinds of deadly things.
Does this sound familiar to someone?
Can anyone remember the episode or the name of the poor scientist?

I know exactly what you're talking about. The guy invented CFCs I think, plus some other stuff. Can't remember his name though.
