Actually I got it the wrong way round. She was talking about hair removal and said she'd use the bachelor to scrape her legs.

:)
The only bachelor we have in the house is bemason and I'm pretty sure he'd refuse.

She might be planning to out-source?

Bemad says she wants a geranium. She said the ones they have in the States are different to ours. She then went on to describe a terrarium.

You can probably have a geranium in a terrarium...

One of the nagging women at work complaining about the way the management deal with problems was bemoaning the fact that "we all get tied to the same brush".

Yesterday I spent most of my way home (which is bloody long by commuting standards) looking for the adjective that describes an easily spooked animal. Frisky? No! Pesky? No! And so on and so forth. I knew it was something with sk somewhere in there, but nevertheless ended up having to Google it when I got home. Skittish it was. What on earth is the fucking challenge?

Not entirely sure where the malapropism is in that one, AFB.

Anyway, the same nagging woman asked me if I had "a postage note" today. Turns out that she didn't want a stamp, she wanted one of these...

There isn't. The debate about agoraphobia etc. just made me think of that and because I'm on strong painkillers I've less of a filter than usual.

I may've mentioned this before; on the train to work some time ago, a woman was recounting loudly to her friends how she'd attended a fancy dress party the night before dressed as Elvis "with a massive black quim".

Yesterday, I had to go to the out-of-hours clinic at the hospital (I'm fine, I just needed a difrerent antibiotic). In order to get the cheaper parking rate, I needed the receptionist to validate my parking. I practised saying it quietly while I was waiting for the receptionist. I then confidently asked her to violate my parking ticket. *sigh*
