People I would love to see on QI, either because they are interesting or funny:

Simon Pegg
Brian May
Billy Connolly
Neil Innes
Michael Palin
Eric Idle

(I think most of these have been mentioned previously though!)

Very interested in architecture apparently is Mr. May. I saw him at Prague castle and he was getting very animated describing it.

You mean the Queen one, the guitar-plonker? The not-a-relative-of-James May?

*ponder* It's true, that back in the day great Rock bands often included a majority of educated members. The best of them consisted of music graduates.
I wonder, is David Bowie known to know interesting things? If so, I'd like to nominate him.
I'm sure quite a few old Rockers would love to be asked for their arcane knowledge rather than the usual interview by second rate journalists concerning albums they never heard.

Stefan.

That's the one. He's a very intelligent man with a degree in Astrophysics. :) Ive seen him on things like the Sky At Night, he would definitely be good at knowing the various astronomical questions, I think.

I used to work with Brian May's best friend and former bandmate, Dave Dilloway (Google it) so I've heard many a QI story about him. I'll second/third/fourth/whatever we're up to as far as getting him on the show goes.

when i saw brian live in 1993, the entire venue shouted "welease bwian" till he finally appeared on stage. *lol* it's an honoured tradition in germany, all musicians of that name get the python treatment. ;-)

I got so excited yesterday because I went to see Wicked and Brian May was in the audience and walked right past me! I should have asked him to be on QI...

Next series is G, they've got to do a programme on guitars. Mr May would be the ideal guest for that one.
