Are the moon and the stars and other planets also flat, or is it just the earth?

From memory, I think the planets are round, small balls, and the stars are holes in some sort of membrane.

According to the Flat Earth website, the Earth is different in nature to the other heavenly bodies and is not a planet.

O lord.

The word "colander" is hammering at my brain for admission into this discussion.

Oh. Clever. Sorry if it seems to be, but the Flat Earth theory has been shunned somewhat by the scientific community, so we can't afford any tests or expeditions. In "Everything Else" there's a book by one of the members featuring what would happen if we could.

I'm getting confused, are you FE or RE? Above you say:

Yet on an earlier post you said:

I'm actually an REer devils advocate/troll hunter, so I'm not too knowledgeable of FE theory. Just to clear it up.

I'm RE, but I argue for FE and since Kasroa disappeared, I seem to be the voice of the FES here, so I'm saying we.

Is there a need for voice for FE?

If someone thinks there is reason to believe in FE and wants to debate it then great, but if it's just based on the belief that it exists and that everything can be answered by the claims of conspiracy then it's a load of bovine feces.

You might as well argue that the Flying Spaghetti Monster exists even though you don't believe in it or think there's any real proof.

I think some of us are mising the point of the Flat Earth Society Forum. It is simply an excuse for lively and entertaining debate about nothing at all; a sort of 'Mornington Crescent' thing.
I am reminded of some words from an old barrack room song:
Quote:
They stand on the square and they bellow and shout,
They shout about things they know nothing about.
Tune: The Mountains of Mourne

Ive been in there and it's entertaining. But don;t make the mistake of thinking anyone actually believes it !

Its like wrestling - we all KNOW its just for fun - but dont point it out becxause that instantly ruins it. Its a good place to practise debating skills. If u can go in as a flat earther and argue the case then you have done very well !!!

Ahh, but then again I find pro wrestling ridiculous, maybe that's why it's not for me.
