Our friend PDR once again displays his unfailing talent for sitting on the fence rather than court controversy.........or maybe not.

I hope that instances of such 'fuckwitism' will shortly be classified as a communicable disease among those who are blessed with a paucity of little grey cells.

What worries me is such a thing becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy; "My Book of Wisdom, written 2000 years ago tells me that certain things will happen in the sky. I'd better do something horrifically unpleasant in order to bring on even greater chaos"

Shame the guest is Piers Moron. Whom I've just realised looks quite a bit like David Cameron c. 2025.

OOOH Is he wearing a siver cape and driving a flying car?

Surfing through old threads/posts I found this;

Everyone know the best way to calm an agitated child is to slap it across the legs and yell vague threats at them. Just how ignorant are these people?

Would you like to reconsider now I wonder?

Am I the only person to notice that the quote of the day (1st of June at time of posting) has misspelled 'sometimes' as 'sometime'?

Well I would hope so. Washing at 60!degC (26 orders of magnitude hotter than the core of the sun) has been known to cause shrinkage in some fabrics, and can cause bright colours to fade.

I probably need a drink to get the gist.

That either came straight out of google translate, or the author was being attacked by a wild thesaurus.

My personal favourite QI quote will probably always be by Bill Bailey:

"Maybe that's it. Maybe that's the way to go... crunchy hummus. It's a good name for a band anyway."

It's also kind of funny because falafel is more or less crunchy hummus.
