Stephen has written a book about poetry so he'll have a lot to say on the subject. As such, this mildly amused me:

Q: Who is Britain's bestselling poet?

F: Seamus Heaney, Ted Hughes, Philip Larkin, Andrew Motion

A: Purple Ronnie

Giles Andrae is the wildly successful creator of the "Purple Ronnie" poem cards, and the fictional character "Edward Monkton".

Purple Ronnie has sold over 35 million cards and 2 million books in the UK alone.

Not bad for a chap whose contribution to the art form includes such memorable verses as:

Quote:
“You’re Special"

You’re a very special person
And you mean a lot to me
When you’re around you make the world
A better place to be”

Nice. Maybe problematic for us because he's a brand name, though.

Giles Andrae is not a brand name...
