Thank you Sam, a couple of friends and i were desperately trying to remember what this ad was for.

Personallly, i like the bouncing balls ad for bravia TVs (but then i do have a strange fascination with bouncy balls), and some of the budweiser ads (This bud's for you, mr nudist colony activity coordinator!), the honda Heath Robinson machine one, and for some reason, the lurpak ones with the little trombone playing butter fellow.

I just saw an ad for Lynx which involved a chocolate man and I'm not sure but I think a lady bit his bum off. :)

I really like this ad, I like the music, I like expression on the chocolate man's face, I like how women just grab him all the time, I like chocolate.

Douglas. With Penelope Keith occasionally doing voice overs for it.

I've just remembered some fantastic adverts that were on a while back, for a website called S1 that gave listings, jobs and flats in Scotland.
All were great, but a few were pure genius...

Yer Maw!

There is a nice car ad. Not sure what car, and people are doing puzzles, very good.

I saw one with a big 3D car jigsaw - is that the one, Seb? that's a great ad.

Yes! :) It starts with them playing with Rubik cubes first and then they all join together and make a structure with them then do some other puzzle bloody great advert :)

That's the trouble with good ads - I seldom remember the product, just the ad. *G*

isn't it interesting, though, that nobody seems to remember what car the commercial is actually for? neither do i, btw, so obviously with all its aesthetic pleasantness it's obviously overshot the target, everyone remembers the thing itself but not it's purpose. maybe that's why annoying commercials are so much more common, it's easier to keep the actual product in mind.

I like that advert too, and it's Honda - I managed to guess that somehow the first time I saw the advert. I think the voiceover bloke is the same one as in the (also cool, and already mentioned previously mentioned on this thread) "Hate something, change something, hate something, change something, make something betterrr!" advert, which I'm pretty sure was also for Honda.
Or maybe that's just bollocks and I'm psychic ;).
