Bear with me on this one:
1/3 = 0.33333333333... The repeating part is 3, and 3 divides 3. When does this next happen?
1/487 = 0.00205338809034... The repeating part is too long to write out, but 487 divides into it.
The only other number for which this property is known is 56598313.

Try this little mathematical exercise:

(1) Start with any three-digit number with at least two digits different.
(2) Arrange the digits in ascending and then in descending order to get two three-digit numbers, adding leading zeros if necessary.
(3) Subtract the smaller number from the bigger number.
(4) Go back to step 2.

Repeating this process will always reach 495 in a few steps. Once 495 is reached, the process stops because 954 – 459 = 495.

E.g. start with 681:
861 - 168 = 693
963 - 369 = 594
954 - 459 = 495
