The performance linked here is performed on a glass harp (as the video description states!).

The glass harmonica (originally known as the glass armonica without the h, as it was taken from Italian) was an invention by Benjamin Franklin, where glass bowls were mounted to a spindle rotated by a foot pedal.

Quite interesting, don't you think?
